6 Transfers!!!!!

That's right 6 transfers everyone, it is pretty crazy. I never thought I the day would come where I would be serving in Mozambique for 6 transfers. Not only that but that I still have about 7-8 more transfers here. The work is crazy. It is has been a crazy journey, I am proud to announce that after 5 transfers in Napipine I have been transferred! I can hardly believe it too but after about 13 months on the mission, I am finally getting to my third area. So where am I now? Well it isn't Tete, Chimoio, Nampula or even Beira, well kinda not Beira. I am in Dondo! It is a small city about an hour outside of Beira and wow it is cool.

How I found out about the transfer was pretty fun too. So, President didn't call on Sunday or on Monday or on Tuesday. I found out about the transfers when the AP's called at 8 PM informing me about my flight the next day at 9 AM. Fortunately I had started packing some of my stuff so it wasn't all bad getting ready. Then the next morning, I packed up, said my goodbyes and was on a plane to Maputo. Also crazy story with the flight, somehow on the exact same day the 1st councilor in the bishopric of Napipine was on the same flight as us. Even crazier I had the seat next to him! So I chatted with him during the flight, it was great. After getting to Beira I waited all day at the office for the AP's to bring Elder Davidson, who I would be living with in Dondo, so that we could take a taxi together there.

And wow the work in Dondo is super different. The area is pretty big and the city has a lot more of a suburb vibe than Nampula which was like straight city. So the roads are spaced out and the houses are well organized, it has been pretty nice. I really haven't seen that much of the area yet but I am excited to be working here.

Also my companion is Elder Mateus, he is from Nampula in the ward right next to where I was serving, I even taught his father once or twice. It is pretty funny because he is super short and he has had a lot of tall American companions, including me. It has been fun working with him.

Also this week we had ward council (which happens every week here) and dang it was awesome. Our bishop is a beast. He is about 25, a return missionary, and he just works hard. I am already loving it because he is so well organized and helps all the other leaders work hard too.

I don't think there is too much else to write. It still amazes me how quickly my area changed and how quickly I was back working. I liked Napipine but it also was time for a change. I am excited to work hard here and do all I can this people and this ward.
